November 3

.

Another "what a difference a week makes" pair of pics.

October 22, looking out my office window.

November 2, ditto.

I understand how they can all fall off in less than a week, but how can they change color so suddenly?

Walking home after we have reverted to Eastern Standard Time.

I love daylight savings. I just hate going off. It's not dark at 5:00 yet, but it will be. Sigh.

(note to people who prefer their daylight later in the day -- it pays to live at the western edge of a time zone!)

We're in that lovely time of year: dark when I get up, foggy when I go to work, dark when I get off work.

I almost hit a deer last night, coming home in the dark.

Bye sun. See you in about March. (sniff)

I am soooooooooo grateful for my nice big office window. I get plenty of natural light (never turn on the flourescents until it is dark on these late-in-the-year evenings), and can glance out any time.

Yikes, deer. Wish they weren't so dumb............

I have a hard time without enough sunlight. I don't mind the cold of winter, but the dark..... Much harder to take.
