Golden rain tree pods.







Lots of persimmons still high on the tree.





This looks just like milkweed, only the plant and pod are smaller.... I think there was butterfly weed here, and I think that's what this is.

The orangey-red stuff here is a sort of chocolatey purple, during the summer. The camera steadfastly refuses to catch anything like the color I see in warm weather.

This, however, is what I remember from the 27th.







Craving color, but liking the fuzz.........
