Bright sunlight is not the easiest light to use for photographs.
These poppies were mostly in the shade, which made them a bit easier to capture.
Iris. The bouquet I bought at the farmers' market on the 28th was of iris very similar to these, with a lovely grapey smell. Unfortunately I didn't get their pic while they were lovely (they fade fast).
Locust tree.
Azalea.
