I said, a couple of days ago, that I was going to count the properties where the old-fashioned daylilies are growing, as I walked my usual loop. I lost count a couple of times, as I paid more attention to what I was seeing than the numbers, but I think 60 is about right, including a couple of pieces of city-owned land. I wonder if any other flower is as popular?
