I learned a new word: guttation

.

Wikipedia defines guttation as "the exudation of drops of xylem sap on the tips or edges of leaves of some vascular plants, such as grasses. Guttation is not to be confused with dew, which condenses from the atmosphere onto the plant surface."

This image is the work of Luc Viatour of Belgium, who grants a gracious permission for others to use it, as long as credit is given.

Isn't this a spectacular image?  Love the upside-down reflections in the droplets...................  Thank you, Luc!

Moderation is enabled, as I was getting too much spam (even with the word verification on!).

Comments left here will show up on the blog as soon as I see them and OK them.

I'm sorry for the frustration! I wish the #)($&^ spammers would get a life and leave the rest of us in peace!
