The 13th was a bizarrely warm day, considering that there was still well over a foot of snow on some lawns, and the piles of shoveled snow/ice are well over four feet tall in many places.
It was around 40(F).
We went to the other grocery (not the good bread-and-good-milk Saturday grocery, but the really-big-grocery-plus-other-stuff grocery outside of town).
It was a clear blue day, and the (waxing gibbous) moon played hide and seek behind the jet trails.
There was a seriously excellent sunset sky.
(note to self: next house [as if], try for a much-less-obstructed view of western sky)
