Sounds like that would be "interesting" in the Chinese curse sense.........
Yesterday morning I discovered my computer at work was dead. That is to say -- not dead, but it won't boot, even with the magic touch of the pc-support staff. It's not known yet whether it can be revived short of wiping it and starting over........
Luckily this is only an annoyance. No work was lost (except what I would have been doing while I didn't have a computer to use).
Then one of the computers at home became infected with a Trojan......
I hate vandals............
Thieves I can understand (while not condoning their behavior), but vandals? They should get a life.
We are still recovering from being infected. The first scan found no issues; I think we will be acquiring some anti-malware software today. I'll be asking my colleagues what's the best way to deal with the nasty thing we've acquired.
Being disconnected when we are so used to being connected is very ... unpleasant and disconcerting!
