My daylilies, in the lawn extension.
Tulip tree, making seeds.
The sky, from my office.
Excellent shadows. (You can tell it was very close to noon when this was taken!)
Note to smokers: this would be one of the reasons there are so many anti-smoking laws appearing on the books. Ick.
The 28th was so nice I had my office window open all day. Unfortunately that big (heavy!) window declined to stay open on its own.
Note attractive and tasteful window-holder-opener.
Yes, it's a folding umbrella. Not one of the teeny ones, either. A regular-size one. That gives you an idea how big that window is.
That's the corner of my desk, with the little pot and twig. If you were standing where I was when I took this pic, and you turned 90 degrees left, you'd be looking right at me, sitting at my desk.
When I lean to my left, and look out the window, I can see a lot of sky. Looking straight out, I see the new wing they unfortunately felt compelled to add to our lovely historic building.
Walking home. Asiatic lilies (and geraniums in lower left).
The intersection of Huron and 7th, looking up.
And looking at the traffic.

LOVE those shadows!!! :)
Thanks! Me, too.
Nice of the merchants to get interesting tables so we can appreciate the shadows. :-)
