class notes

.

I did my last peer reviewing for Archaeology's Dirty Little Secrets on the 27th.  I have completed all the requirements; once the dust settles, I should be getting a certificate of completion (by whatever name).

It was a really good class.  Professor Sue Alcock at Brown University excels at what she does.  Should you ever get a chance to take a class from her, advice from here is to jump at that opportunity!

One of the downsides to experiencing something done in a superb way is that our expectations rise, and other (similar) things/experiences suffer in comparison.

It is not a surprise that my new class isn't as good as the last one.  It's not bad, but ... it's not holding a candle to Archaeology's Dirty Little Secrets.

Alas.
