Ya gotta love your public library -- the ability to walk in there and check out info about pretty much anything is truly excellent!
Here's a list of five books that have been purchased recently by the Ann Arbor District Library. They appear in this order in the list. I chose this contiguous group for their diversity:
Teach Yourself Visually Complete Excel (2013) Paul McFedries
Open Water Swimming Manual : an expert's survival guide for triathletes and open water swimmers (2013) Lynne Coxe
Beautifully Unique Sparkleponies : On myths, morons, free speech, football, and assorted absurdities (2013) Chris Kluwe
Makeovers : room-by-room solutions. (2013) Better Homes and Gardens Books
The Penguin history of modern China : the fall and rise of a great power, 1850 to the present (2013) Jonathan Fenby
And this list doesn't even include any fiction, or any kids' books. Or any movies, music, or books-on-CD.......
