It's good when things work as we hope they will, but getting from "needing to be fixed" to "all better" can be annoying...............
I hadn't realized my shadow fell on the sign until I saw the above "on the big screen".....
Pear leaf. Note wet sidewalk. We had a couple of rather wet days this week.
Sun shining on wet sidewalk makes for more contrast than usual between the darkest shadows and the lightest pavement.
