Walking up to the farmers' market. I believe this is poison ivy. Pretty, isn't it? It was tiny -- probably close to life-size, on your screen. It's growing up the front of a small office building.
Daylilies and hostas.
A spirea, either confused or optimistic, putting out new leaves in November (in a temperate climate in the northern hemisphere).
Shrubs by the Pittsfield branch of the library, covered in orangey-red berries.
I like the tall ornamental grass on the left side of this next image.
The Ann Arbor Stamp Show was the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd. I like to go and look through bins of face-value uncancelled US stamps. I found a bunch I was happy with, including one with dinos. I found some uncancelled French stamps last year, of places we visited in 2010, and expected to find some analogous Italian ones this year, but was disappointed. Italian stamps seem to be scarcer and less interesting than French stamps. I wonder why...............
Nice plantings at the community college.
I remember when the community college began building this campus. It's a large and thriving organization now.
Walking. Tulip tree leaf. This one is bigger than any from our tree, but not nearly as big as the one we saw a few days ago. Half that size, maybe.
