The 24th was a warm (mid-50s, F), bright-blue, very cloudy, rainy, sunshiny day.
Here's a sunshiny time......
The glare on the wet pavement has completely blown it out (so much light on the camera sensors, there, that there is no data at all -- other than "TOO MUCH LIGHT!").
Heading out for a walk. Not all sunshiny now. Cloudy. But you can see that the sycamore tree is in direct sunlight.
I'm seeing more tiny leaves now than I've been seeing. I don't know what it means.
This one is bigger on my screen than in real life. Maple.
Sunshiny, to the south.....
Hickory leaves.
Layers and layers of clouds.....
I think we picked the very nicest part of the 24th for our walk. As we got close to home, it got windier and darker. The day continued to get windier and windier, and darker and darker. And wetter than when we walked, too. And colder.
Lots of people were out when we walked. I said hello to a pair of joggers, and one turned to me and said "It's SO nice out!" Yes, I agreed. Yes, it was. We Michiganders are all very well aware that warm sunny weather is to be treasured and savored, now, rather than taken for granted......
