Over the highway and through the 'burbs, to Granddad's apartment we went.............
It was a dark-ish day, but the skies were dramatic, from time to time.
Why do they ever make cameras (or the outsides of lenses) any other color than matte black?
Sigh..........
We ate Thanksgiving dinner in the dining room where Granddad lives. The people there all seem to be very attentive and caring. Granddad knows everyone, of course, and is greeted from all sides whenever he appears.
After dinner we had a very nice conversation. Our daughter did an excellent job of asking good questions that drew out stories. We learned about first jobs, and about how Granddad met Grandma (a blind date arranged by her best friend).
A box of books full of pictures was brought down from a high shelf.......
Cut-out filter to obscure identities..... I'm liking what this filter does with people.....
This is Emma Norton. She is my daughter's paternal grandmother's paternal grandmother.
One of my daughter's great-great-grandmothers.
I believe this was the oldest pic we saw on the 27th.

Love your through the car window photos!
Thanks!
I am surprised how often I get something I like, given the motion, and the glare, and the reflections, and the dirt on the windows.............
