Daylilies.
This (very big) yellow daylily has a friend. Or a foe?
Look how long its antennae are, and its hind legs! I just spent several minutes looking at hundreds of pics of grasshoppers, and I didn't see any with legs like this................... I hope this isn't some horrid import from somewhere which is on its way to devastating our crops and flowers and who knows what!!!
It has weird feet. Right hind.
Left hind, from a different angle.
Daylilies.
I don't know what this is. I'm going to guess it's a bellflower. It was a small plant, under 1' tall, with flowers at the top of a tall-ish (for the size of the plant) stalk.
Looking down at it.
I believe this is a correopsis.
Here's another cute little house that is for sale. This one is on Linwood.
A bit of "Pure Michigan" for you. Our roads are in horrible shape. More money needs to be spent on infrastructure, and less on wars!

Thank you for acknowledging "Pure Michigan." (We call it "Pure Marketing" in our house!) The roads are awful (I just got new front struts and they said the back ones need replacing too -- the repair guy blamed it on the roads). Unless you are looking out at the lake up north (trying to forget WalMart is just a mile or two away) I don't see so much of "Pure Michigan" as I wish we did!
