Coleus, and what I think of as "that purple stuff."

On the 26th I enjoyed another Smell & Tell.  Michelle Krell Kydd is generous enough to take groups of adventurers into strange places and foreign lands, all at the public library.  She chooses a topic -- on the 26th it was "Fleurs Hypnotique et Fleurs Exotique" -- and then takes us on a journey through time, space, and story, via our eyes, ears, and noses.  On the 26th we explored white flowers, and their reason for being (making sure there will be more white flowers, by attracting night-time polinators....).  Michelle brings many scents for us to smell, as part of our excursion to otherwhere....

She's going to do another Smell & Tell near the end of October (the last Wednesday, I think).  Check on aadl.org for the details.....
