A couple of autumns ago, I planted two kinds of daffodils in the back yard. The regular kind seen here came up and bloomed the following spring, and last year, too. Much appreciated!
This year I got a surprise. I can't remember for sure if I planted some like this fancy one, but it was nice to see it. I couldn't tell it was fancy until I got out in the back yard, as there is shrubbery between the house and the flowers. I knew there was something yellow, there, but didn't know about the orange until I was at a better angle.
I decided to bring it in so I could see it up close and personal. It smells nice, too.
