I bet these giant tulip-tree leaves are from the same tree as that even bigger leaf we saw several days ago......
The maple seed between the two big leaves is normal size 2.25", maybe? And the smaller tulip-tree leaf is what I think of as "normal" size -- it's a leaf from our tree. I'll bet the part not including the stem is about 5". These are big leaves! (On the back stoop, with doormat.)
I have a blogging friend in the southwest who has spectacular sunsets over her back yard. We can't hold a candle to that, here in Michigan, but we do get some good sunsets.
