Blue skies, and interesting clouds, on May 1.
And the moon. See it in the upper right quadrant?
A closer crop.

hooray for sunshine in winter time
.
These pics were taken on Jan 6.
Hooray for blue skies and sunshine when it's January out!
Random information, as seen on a library bookshelf.
Paper flowers, chain mail, beadwork, knife making, stained glass.......... Hooray for libraries!

Happy Winnie the Pooh Day
.
Wolf moon. Phone cam does creditable job, given low light (this is a pretty severe crop of the original).

Hoping to help Georgia get a better secretary of state, and a new Commissioner, too.
Sunset in Tree Town.
Moonrise.

Walking as the sun went down. Check out those lines of gray clouds just above the horizon.
Moonrise. This is the most serious disadvantage to phone photos, in my view -- no zoom lens.

more from September 18, 2018
.
I found some more pics on the phone that only just now made it to the computer. Sigh.
Clouds on September 18.
That highest white dot, sort of near the right side, is the moon.

Remember this squirrel? This is a normal-colored fox squirrel.
We are seeing more weird-colored squirrels in the neighborhood. I think they are fox squirrels in someone else's clothing, but I wouldn't swear to it. We've been seeing a black squirrel, from time to time, but this is the first time I remember seeing one that is basically gray, with such a pale tail.
(I long for the day when phone cameras have a decent zoom lens. This is a close crop of a pic taken pretty far away from the squirrel. Flowers stand still for closeups. Squirrels? Not so much.)
Cool sky, the evening of November 28.
Closer crop of the jet trail.
See the moon?

October 26
.
My favorite -- when there's still lots of green to contrast with the orange.
There a few flowers remain, here and there. I don't know what this is.......
Maple.
Halloweeny branch, and burning bush. I was also interested by the way the awning looks from underneath, at left........
Another of the gorgeous days gifted us by 2015.
Excellent color at left, and a portent of October 26th's future at right.....
The rats were converging on the Rat House (and a skeletal Mickey Mouse) on the 26th.
Japanese maple.
Some other kind of maple. Isn't this branch spectacular?
Here's another thing to love about fall ... crunching through drifts of dry leaves......
It is, of course, Not Done to pick other people's flowers. But it is fine to pick up their leaves.
Maples, all.
Pleased with this. I took at least six shots of an autumn full moon on a hazy night. This was the sharpest of the bunch.

More frosty windows............
Later. Walking. Disappointed that this is blurry. I took about 8 shots of this sky, and all are blurry. I must have had the camera on the wrong setting. Sigh.
Baffled why every single shot of the wider scene was blurry, but one (1) of the three shots I took zoomed in on the moon is as clear as any shot I have ever gotten of the moon.
Glad, but baffled..............
All of these shots taken with the camera, not the phone.......

November 9
.
Yellow in the back yard.
The Yellow Tree, from my office window, bare.
Maple and gingko.
It was a windy afternoon.
The clouds swept across the sky.
It cleared up, clouded up, cleared up, clouded again, all afternoon.
Sunset. While I'm still at work.
I said "no more pics on the way home," but I lied.
Full moon coming up beside Tower Plaza.
