On Monday, we launched our 207th #PostcardsToVoters campaign for @AmyMcGrath

Abby the Address Bot assigned 93,473 addresses for all active campaigns that day. Our Rapid Response Email Team doled out 6,376 addresses in email replies.

I keep my postcards right by my keyboard, so when I’m waiting for the computer to do something, I can start another card.

It’s rewarding to watch a small stack of cards grow, and rewarding to put them into the mail, and thrilling when *my* candidates win, and EXCELLENT when *my* candidates take office and do the good work I’d hoped for!

It feels good to be part of the solution!  :-)

Our new-as-of-2018 (Democratic woman) Michigan secretary of state decided that all registered voters would receive applications for absentee ballots for the state (non-presidential) primary election that was held August 4, and for the general election to be held on November 3.

We got our primary ballots several weeks ago.  We didn't fill them out right away, so decided to return them to a drop box in city hall on July 30.

Our ballots are tracked.  We got email saying the ballots had been mailed to us, and email saying they'd received our ballots.

They even gave us electronic "stickers".  :-)

We plan to return the ballots for the general election very shortly after we receive them.
