It was a dairy goat day at the fair. I was hoping for some curly little Angoras (who grow mohair), but no.

These are Nubians, with Roman noses and long stiff ears.





















I *think* this is an Alpine, but am not sure. Isn't it cool how her nose and her eartips make an equilateral triangle?





















They also had La Manchas. They have so very little external ear that it truly looks like someone chewed it off. You could see right into their heads. Eep! Naturally (thinking back to the comments about Jersey bulls a few days ago) the breed id page said they were the most charming and tractable. I am all for charming and tractable, but............ Eeuw.
