sumac
Sumac is a weedy shrub that grows along the side of the road. I enjoy its firey color as we drive by, but am not usually close enough to take pics....

Don't you think all that hot color would *have* to keep your feet warm, in a nice pair of wool socks?
At this time of year I always feel that I must SOAK UP every ray of color, against the coming blue and gray........
