It wasn't/isn't a very nice day.
The color is more rusty than brilliant, now, but there are still moments of brilliance.
Lunch was very good and the company was excellent, so it was a good trip.
My dad brought me some gorgeously red leaves. Thanks, Dad! It was great to see you guys!

I was intending to show them right on till they were melted or whatever, but the same force of destruction (I think, anyway) that did in the bear knocked the mushrooms down. They weren't so photogenic any more....
I'll have to watch that space next year.....
