Apparently it left fertle ground for mushrooms.
I have read too many stories of dogs sickened by eating mushrooms, so I pick them and throw them away. I don't know if any of these are especially bad, so I get rid of as many of them as I can (picking all those teeny ones is a job!).
These big white ones look a lot like what I've seen about amanitas (which are really really poison). Let's hope that's not what they are. Were, that is to say, they are no longer there.
