snow on the roof

This morning we woke up to snow on the family room roof.

Blogger was incommunicado, so I couldn't blog it until now........ As you can see, the rest of the yard looks like late summer.............

The snow was gone an hour later. The day was cold -- 30s and very windy, with snow flurries on and off.

I brought in my ficus tree last night. I hate bringing it in -- it is so shiny and happy and healthy outside, and every winter it is sad, losing shine and losing leaves as time goes on. I've had it since 1983, so I guess this treatment won't kill it......
