We are so lucky to live in a time and place where we have an abundance of food, clean water, energy, medical care, modern plumbing, internet connectivity, and tampons. A few of the things that contribute to a comfortable life....
I mean to be consciously grateful for the good things every day.
I mean to try to help those who were not as fortunate as I, who were born in places with fewer riches. Check out The Central Asia Institute, which is doing everything they can do to build schools, especially for girls, in remote places in central Asia. I can't think of a better way to promote peace than to make life better for children and families. As better-educated girls have fewer, healthier, better-educated children, I think the Central Asia Institute's mission is an excellent promoter of peace.
One of our Thanksgiving traditions is pumpkin pie for breakfast. I wish you all a good day, built on your own happy traditions.

Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your pumpkin pie and all the other goodies on offer today.
Thank you!
Pie for breakfast, and then we were lucky enough to go to my husband's brother and sister-in-law's for dinner. Turkey and all the trimmings. Yum. :-)
I just need to remember my rubber gloves next time, for doing the dishes! :-)
