state meet

The finals for the Division I (biggest schools) high school girls' state swim meet are today. I've been to many many swim meets over the last six years, and these are the first state finals I've missed in those six years.

Our high school's swimmers are astonishingly good. It's always a pleasure to watch them swim. The girl closest to the viewer in this shot is one of the finest young swimmers in the country. She is one of two girls on our team who have reasonable Olympic hopes.
