gray

Early last fall, when I got bored with monochromatic critters-at-the-state-fair, it was easy to go to the farmers' market and take pics of bright colors. I suppose the farmers still have apples..... Somehow taking pictures of potatoes and other underground crops doesn't seem all that different from yet another pic of tree bones.......

Sigh.

Another gray morning.......

Grey skies here too but that's a lovely photo of the branches against the sky. This sort of picture gives me intense pleasure.

Thanks!

Thanks, Rowan -- I like monochromatic compositions, too, but I find that after some number of them --- I. Just. WANT. *COLOR*!
:-)

Last September I was going along happily with my sheep and cows and so on, and then I began to get itchy. A bunch of shots of bright colors at the market made me happy.

Now I'm getting tired of the unrelieved winter browns and grays, and need to think of a winter stand-in for the market. The university has a big conservatory at the botanical gardens; I think I need to go there.....

Gray are OK with me. I like them because the world feels like a blank canvas ready to be painted on. Those are the days I love to hit the art/craft store and buy new supplies
