Ohio roads

Some parts of Ohio are flat as a board. Other parts are decidedly three-dimensional.

The road between Mt. Vernon and Gambier is hilly and curvy. We are very close to Gambier, here. There are Kenyon buildings on that hill, up ahead.

This pic was taken on a bright day, right into the sunlight. I knew the camera was going to get confused, and sure enough..... We are coming down a serious hill. The road curves left, and right, and then if you look part-way up the hill, you can see the road curving back to the left....

This sycamore is just at the outside curve of the road hidden by trees on the left of the pic above. The bright sun is still confusing the issue, and the trunk of this tree is, alas, lost in the gloom.

This next section of road is heading east from Mt. Vernon, toward US 23 and home. You can see it is very roller-coaster-y.
