We went and looked for light fixtures yesterday. Wow, are there a lot of expensive fancy ones out there! And basically nothing in a nice plain fixture that is open so you don't have to dismantle it to change the bulb..................... Sigh.
Ok, let's leave that behind.
Here is all the white we are likely to see out our window this Christmas. The neighbors' fence, car, house.......
I oomphed the red and green, to emphasize the seasonality, but I think that probably just makes it *less* seasonal, as it doesn't really look very wintry.
When I went to make snowflakes yesterday, I saw one that was just sad faces from someone who said that in all of Iceland there is no snow, only rain. I hear that polar bears are drowning, as they depend on the ice sheet, and there is so much less ice than usual.... Turn down your thermostat (causing less polution and global warming), save a polar bear.......
