You'll recall that I took many pictures of this gorgeous thing last summer. I bought it for a class which required me to draw a plant, and it continued to put out these amazing fuchsia flowers with coral highlights for the rest of the summer.

I brought it in, to winter at my office. I had no expectations, but look!























I love the backs of the leaves. So emphatic. Like the amaryllis, that hint of fuchsia in the leaves......
