Spotted this in someone's garden. Does anyone know what it is? It is hardy in Ann Arbor, and blooms in late April........ Potentilla?

























I thought this was alchemilla, but the foliage is totally different from the alchemillas I found by googling. The flowers are different, too.

These flowers are pretty little -- I had no idea there was so much going on until I saw them on "the big screen"............ Aren't they cool?
