I have talked in the past about the difficulties of photographing things behind barriers. Fences. Netting. Glass............
It's nice when it's safe for us and for the critters if we go right in with them. The blue-bellied roller I showed you a couple of days ago was in a glassed-in enclosure, but the others of these small birds were loose in rooms we could walk through.
