As color is my favorite thing, I don't favor white flowers. Still appreciating these.....

About Me
- I need orange
- Helen Frankenthaler is an artist who does abstract prints. One is called "I Need Yellow." I love contrast, and I love saturated color. When choosing a blog name, I tried "iloveorange" which was taken, and then I remembered Helen and went for ineedorange.

Beautiful photos. In May, I'm so crazed for flowers I love them all. I'm pickier by the time July and August roll around.
I have the opposite reaction. :-) Early in the season I am so starved for color that I really prefer flowers of color -- the brighter and stronger the color, the better.
Later in the season, when I've been soaking up all the colors of live plants, I generally have less preference for color vs. white flowers.
Not that I don't enjoy pretty much any flower, pretty much any time....
And -- I was given a gardenia yesterday. I surely love it as much as any flower I've seen so far this year!
