digital patchwork

Digital images, cut up and arranged. A first attempt at this process. Interesting how it is like, and unlike, working with fabric, which I have done manymany times. As you can tell. This is very quilterly....................

Anything I work on this much -- not sure yet how much I like it.

(Considering "this much" in the context of quilting......... Amused. "I mean, it was, like, allllllllll afternoon!" Even with as few pieces of fabric as this, I could not have produced an entirely finished object in one afternoon. Unless it were all fused, with no "finished edges" or anything.............)

My favorite thing about it is the iris petal going up and down, above and below the green stuff in the middle.

I also like the little "wrapped" thingies in the turquoise border, even though they took me nearly as long as the whole rest of it.
