dog update

He had his second dose of vincristine last Tuesday afternoon. He started vomiting Wednesday morning.

He was hospitalized from Thursday morning until Friday evening, as he couldn't keep anything down.

Saturday seemed ok. He ate his I/D prescription food willingly, and I mashed it with water to keep him hydrated.

Sunday was not good. He threw up all day.

Yesterday he started the day by refusing his I/D..........

He was willing to eat yogurt, so he had a couple teaspoons of yogurt every hour until late afternoon, and then was willing to eat a couple teaspoons of I/D.

Thank goodness he is willing to eat ice. If it's the right temp. Not too cold. He likes ice that has been sitting in my drink for a while........

I took him to our vet this morning. His white cells are at 100,000, which is 1/6 of where they were to begin with........ I'm supposed to take him to Michigan State on Friday.................

It's a good sign that his white cells are down, but not good that he had such a hard time this week.

Sigh.
