I wish I could share the smell with you. Scented iris have a lovely grapey scent.
I love irises. Such flamboyant blooms, with pleasant scent, in a plant that is very hardy in a location it enjoys.

What great photos Vicki, and these irises are lovely. I actually have all the herbs and scented geraniums on you previous post, growing in my garden, amazingly enough :) Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog.
Thanks, and you are most welcome. I love your work.......
Wondering how many more herbs you have....... Also wondering -- what does chervil taste like? Without the little labels in the pots, I would have thought it was flat parsley..........
hmmmm, I haven't tasted chervil and it's not one of the herbs in my garden! I do have sage, thyme, lemon thyme, three kinds of basil, rosemary, oreganos, chives and garlic chives, tarragon, parsleys, coriander ... I'll stop before I bore you!! :)
I may have to buy some chervil, just so I can taste it! I hate to nip bits of little baby plants for sale..... Now if I saw a honking big one, I might nip a tiny piece....
You're not boring me, but you are making me jealous..... :-)
