roses and rhododendrons

... on my way to work.

This bee had so much pollen in the sacs on her hind legs that she could barely bumble from one place to another.






Bud on the same plant as above. Gotta love those long spikey ... sepals?...... And who knew the buds had short little red hairs? Not I.






Rhododendrons have these bigger leaves, and azaleas have small leaves, right?






I wonder if the freckles are a "right this way!" sign for pollinators.......
