Buzz ok

So far so good.

No spewing. He is pretty lively -- barking at things outside, being a jerk to his brother, and HUNGRY. He says "no more of that 'sick dog' canned stuff, give me my rightful KIBBLE!!"

I talked to our vet today, and got some more metronidazole (anti-diarrhetic).

I read that 1 in 5 dogs who get adriamycin will develop an infection as a result of the immunosuppressant aspects of the adria, and one website I saw recommended prophylactic antibiotics. Our vet said that as he needs a blood count on Friday, we'll wait and see what his blood count looks like, and give him antibiotics then if his neutrophils are too low. At least -- she said "if his count is low", but I think she meant his neutrophil count. Those would be the Good White Cells, which fight disease, as opposed to the Bad, Out-of-Control, White Cells that are making him sick in the first place................

When we got home from the vet, he said he'd chase a toy. So he fetched one up, just in the family room, about 10 times. Then he said he was tired. But at least he wanted to do it......

Tomorrow I have to give him cytoxin. :-( Cytoxin and adria make each other's side effects worse, so he has had a few days off the cytoxin to get the adria out of his system.
