Today, it looks like this:

Only a few dozen of the most stalwart leaves remain on the tree. The rest let go during the night.

The carpet on the ground is astonishingly beautiful.

I drink in the color, storing it up against the monotone to come.....

Wow those leaves are amazing! You should do a calendar!
Thanks!!!
I've been toying with the idea of trying to make a little money off the photos....... Not sure how to do that, and don't want to turn it into a full-time job! :-)
Beautiful shots showing the earths bounty. Here we just send the men to the roofs to blow the leaves off and don't think to see the beauty. Thanks.
Thanks, Lynne.
Love your sense of humor (laughing out loud at the men on the roof....). (About which -- please -- less talk. The men here don't do that, and I don't want them getting any ideas! Too much leaf-blowing NOISE around here already; I don't want to give them any more ideas!)
Your mind works just like mind, wandering off on tangents and wondering about everything and making connections between this and that..............
