Buzzupdate

He is doing well, knock on wood.

The half dose of metoclopramide (aka reglan) seems to be doing the trick. He is not nauseated, everything is going through as it should, and he is eating well.

He has eaten a bit more than a maintenance amount of food every day since the weekend, for the first time in weeks. (It's a Very Worrying Sign when a corgi doesn't eagerly wolf down every bit of food available............)

Whew.

I should make an appt to take him to MSU next week. Just to let them look him over and advise. It's going to be hard to convince me to let him have any more IV chemo just now, since it took him so long to come back after that last dose........ He's only supposed to have one more dose to finish off this protocol, and our local vet thinks it would be fine to just leave it off............

Not looking forward to making the drive to Lansing, and then there's always the possibility that they will say Bad Things to me..............

Ok.

Not thinking about that.

He feels good right now, and that's what I'm going to think about. We'll go for a walk later.....
