up the front walk, Nov. 19

On the 19th I wasn't going anywhere. I just figured I had to get out there and record the pile of orange leaves that had fallen off the little maple during the night.

Took pics across the street (neighbor's magnolia and maples), then headed back to the warm house. (Need to find gloves that will help keep my fingers warm but not prevent camera usage!)

Up our front step (our tulip tree is the only one near our house).

Love the way these burning bush leaves stacked themselves.........

Thank goodness for the myrtle, which holds its intense green unless it gets very awfully cold indeed.

Thanks.

I am learning from my self-imposed requirement for taking these pics "in situ" without rearrangement.

I am finding that something I would have removed, to simplify things, really adds value, after all, rather than just adding distraction.....
