Innit cool that one can take a fairly boring out-of-focus pic and make it more interesting, easily, with software? I like this one much better than the above.
Not sure why it lost so much color. Let's try saturating it first, and then applying the "watercolor" filter.
I like both of these; not sure if I prefer one over the other........ Leaning toward the monochromatic one.
Added on Dec. 9: I am often surprised by what I like in my pics. I usually work to get pics with fewer "evidences of man", so would try to avoid poles and wires. In this case, I feel that the image is definitely more interesting as a result of those strong verticals, diminishing into the distance. The truck, too, is a valuable part of the scene. Imagine this pic without the poles and without the truck. Much more yawn-making, I think..... End of Dec. 9 addition.
This is what the roads are like, between Gambier/Mt. Vernon and Columbus. Very roller-coastery. Very glad it was only wet, not icy!
