Jan. 3, sunset

A Michigan sky.

You can tell this is not Alaska. Too many jet trails. Trees higher than the horizon.....

Crows congregate in the evening, to spend the night together in the highest trees. As I watched the sun set, on the 3rd, the crows flew over, from northeast to southwest. Dozens and dozens of them.

In addition to the recognizable bird shape in the next image, all the small black dots in the sky are crows. Likewise with the image after this next one.

Wow. What a sky, eh?

Definitely the kind of day when I am SO glad I just always have my little camera with me.....
