It gets dark enough, between 5:00 and 5:30, that it's not easy to get decent pics.
The upside of that is that I walk straight home, instead of dawdling along taking pics, and it's much more a cardio workout than when I am taking more pics.....

Ann Arbor looks like such a nice place, love the downtown. My mom's from Bay City...did I tell you that? I haven't been though in many many years.

I don't remember hearing your mom is from Bay City. My DH's bro lives in Midland, so we are up in that area when we visit.
Thanks for the kind words. The snow we got over New Year's was soooo photogenic. My office window is high enough (top of a hill, and top floor of the building) that I am above houses and most of the trees, so I can actually get a clear shot of the sky for sunsets....
