hunting for color...

...in a monochromatic landscape.

It occurs to me that one reason I like the snow is that at least there is more contrast, when there is all that bright white.....

In any case, we are starting to see these, if we look.





Of course, most everything still looks like this.

These are not without their charm -- we love the textures, and we appreciate that these are interesting -- but color is what we hunger and thirst for, during the gray and brown time.
