Mother Nature is really an amazing old gal. We have gone from "Wow, look, a crocus!" to magnolias covered in bloom in just over a week.

Here's what it looked like out my office window today.





This apartment house is right next to my office building. Love the weather vane.





Red maple-tree flowers. I am positive that some of the trees with red flowers have sickly-looking yellowish leaves all summer. I'll be paying better attention this year to see if all of them do........

We had Red Emperor tulips beside our front step, when I was a kid.





I think this is a cherry. I haven't seen any crabapples that are out, yet, though I saw one this afternoon that is close.





This building is commercial below, residential above. As with the hotel's cylinders in Chicago, I want a tour -- of the fancy penthouse condos with their balconies and trees.
