Remember this? This bud pic was taken a week ago last Friday -- April 18.
This is what it looks like now.
Note it has wingy bits (right in the center, for one).
Of course not all of the flowers turn into seeds..... (thank goodness -- maples have too many seeds/seedlings as it is!)
Lots of leaves and leaf skeletons around. I picked up this one to have a closer look, and then noticed the smaller leaf, stuck to the maple.
Ok, that's nice, but I'd rather look at this!
