maple update

Here is what our maple bud has become.





Here's where the bud was. I like seeing the third branch, blurry in the background (lower left).

They don't seem to be growing..... You can see how flat.........





Here's one that is ready to attempt to begin to become a tree. I'm not sure which tree this one is from (tons of maples everywhere....).





See how much more substantial this one is.............





And here's a random square foot of ground. Look at all the seeds! Maples, Siberian elms.......... Thank goodness most of them won't make it to seedlinghood!
