Mystery weed.

There are surely a lot of plants that I do not know.
Here's another.

Look at the "hairs" (I can see them most clearly on the edges of the blossoms in the center). I couldn't see them with my naked eye (I don't wear reading glasses on the way home.....), but they are certainly very present. Wonder what they are for.........

Roses.


Downtown locust. This is some fancy cultivar, I expect.

Its flowers are not so densely presented as the one in my neighborhood. It doesn't smell as good, either. Alas.

Petal snow.

Service berries. Different ones from the ones I saw on the 4th, but apparently at the same stage of development.

The pink bush with the hairy flowers (which are for pollination, I think) is called, apropriately, Beauty Bush :-) T.
